Rohit suddenly went out of the field

Indian captain Rohit Sharma strained his groin muscle during the third T20 match against West Indies while batting on Tuesday and had to go out. Rohit (11) took a run after hitting Alzarri Joseph for a six and a four. Suddenly there was a pain in his back. Indian team physio Kamlesh went on the field and treated him. After a few minutes, Rohit walked off the field due to injury. It is not yet known whether there was a muscle strain or he will not be able to play the next two matches. The next two matches are to be held in Florida on August 6 and 7. Although Rohit looked fit in the dugout after the match, nothing can be said right now.

Suryakumar’s best innings

Opening batsman Suryakumar Yadav’s flamboyant half-century and his half-century partnership with Shreyas Iyer helped India take a 2-1 lead in the five-match series as they beat West Indies by 7 wickets in the third T20 International here on Tuesday.

Avesh Khan conceded runs

Bhuvneshwar Kumar took two wickets for 35 runs for India. Apart from them, Hardik Pandya and Arshdeep Singh got 1-1 success. Avesh Khan proved to be more expensive here than in the second match and he conceded 47 runs in 3 overs. Chasing the target of 165 runs, the Indian team had a good start. Captain Rohit Sharma was seen in good touch with his fellow opener, Suryakumar Yadav. He had scored 11 runs in 5 balls and after the fourth ball of the second over, he was seen struggling with a back problem.

19th win while chasing runs

This is India’s 19th win in the last 21 matches since July 2019 while chasing runs in T20Is. During this, Team India has lost only two matches. It is also the biggest run chase at Warner Stadium. Earlier, West Indies had chased 147 against Afghanistan in 2017 at this ground.
With this victory, India also equaled a big record of Pakistan. India won the 15th T20 match against West Indies. At the same time, Pakistan’s team has also won 15 out of 21 T20 matches against West Indies.
