A new face in team India for the upcoming IND vs WI series is Ravi Bishnoi. Jodhpur’s young spinner Ravi got his first chance to play in India’s ODI and T20 teams in the upcoming series against West Indies.
“Every cricketer dreams of playing with Team India. I had this dream too. When I started playing cricket, I wondered how will I reach there? But with hard work finally, my dream of making a place in Team India came true.” This is to say of 21-year-old young spinner Ravi Bishnoi from Jodhpur (Rajasthan). He has been included in the Indian team for the ODI and T20 series against West Indies.
Ravi Bishnoi took 24 wickets in 23 IPL matches and a total of 24 wickets in 17 List A matches so far.
Anil sir taught how to deal with pressure
Ravi Bishnoi said that playing in IPL is a different pleasure. He got the most benefit from veteran spinner Anil Kumble. Ravi said, “While playing with Punjab Kings, I learned bowling tips under his guidance. He told me every angle of the bowling. How to bowl under pressure during a match? What should be the strategy when the batsman is hitting?” From this, I learned to deal with pressure.
Ravi said that his domestic coaches have also been instrumental in his success. I learned the tricks of early cricket from Shahrukh sir and Pradyot sir at Spartan Cricket Academy. After this, Ranji coach Nikhil Doru sir used to train me separately before the match
Ravi turned fantasy into reality
Happy vibes in the family. Ravi’s father Mangilal Bishnoi is a teacher by profession. When Ravi’s marks started falling short in studies. His father was called to the school. After that, his father refused him to play and forced him to study. Then Ravi said just let me play once from Rajasthan, after that I will do the same as you say. His father gave him a chance. His father says We didn’t imagine him playing this game so well but Ravi turned the fantasy into reality.
