ICC released the schedule for the eighth edition of the Men’s T20 World CUP 2022 on Friday. Australia will host the event this time starting from 16th October. India will start its tournament against arch-rival Pakistan on 23rd October. India last faced Pakistan in the 2021 T20 World Cup in UAE where it faced the first-ever WC loss against Pakistan.
Super 12 Teams
Adelaide, Brisbane, Geelong, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney are the venues where the matches will be played. A total of 16 teams will participate in the tournament. Out of those eight teams will be directly entered in super 12. The other eight teams, divided into Group A and Group B, have to play qualifying matches to enter Super 12. The remaining 4 places of Super 12 will be decided after the Qualifying matches of the eight teams.

India will be launching their ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 campaign against the arch-rival Pakistan on October 23rd at Melbourne Cricket Ground. Indian super 12 schedule for super 12 fixture is as follow :

16 Teams and 45 Matches
The latest upcoming edition of the ICC men’s T20 World Cup 2022 will be held between 16 teams including a total of 45 matches. Where eight teams will be a direct part of the Super 12, the other eight will be divided into two qualifying groups. Sri Lanka and West Indies also have to play qualifying matches to make a place in Super 12. Hosting nation Australi which is also the defending champion will try to keep the trophy with itself.
