IND vs WI 2nd T20I: The second T20 match between India and West Indies will be played at the Eden Gardens Stadium from 7:00 pm, with the Indian team eyeing a short series win against West Indies.

When the Indian team takes to the field to play the second T20 International against West Indies on Friday, they will be eyeing a fourth consecutive series win against the Caribbean team. The Indian team has previously won the T20 series against West Indies in 2018 and 2020.

There will be pressure on Virat

After a not-so-good performance in the ongoing series against west indies, there is more pressure on Virat Kohli to play a big inning. As Rohit Sharma also mentioned in the press conference that the media should not talk that much about the ongoing form of the Virat Kohli. Kohli is in a strong mental state. He is playing international cricket for a decade. He is well aware of how to handle the pressure.

Former captain Virat Kohli is battling to play big innings, he could not score big in the three-match series against West Indies. He could have scored only 26 runs in the One Day series. While in the first T20 he was dismissed after scoring only 17 runs. There will be pressure on Kohli to play a big inning.

There is no possibility of any change in the playing XI of the Indian team, Although it remains to be seen whether the team management will give chances to two spinners Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravi Bishnoi, or will Kuldeep Yadav return.

Though Ravi Bishnoi played an important role in the first T20 match and was awarded the Man of the match. As per the captain, he is a very crucial bowler for the team. Indian Captain Rohit Sharma told, “There is no doubt that Ravi Bishnoi is a very talented player. We saw something different in him that is why we decided to bring him into the team. He has a different skill set and much-needed variations. As we needed, he can bowl from the start of the power play to the death overs of the inning.”

Windies will try to make a comeback

After the defeat in the one-day series, West Indies is on the verge of loose the T20 series also. With the second T20 match, the West Indies team will try to make a comeback. West Indies will try to come up with a better game plan against the Indian team as learning from the previous matches.
