The countdown for the mega auction to be held for the IPL-15 has started. In this auction, not only the young players but also the experienced and age-old players are ready to beat. These players include veteran Indian pacer S Sreesanth who got banned in 2013 after alleged allegations of spot-fixing.

As there is a saying “Age is just a number”, these players are all set and fit to perform in the high voltage sports edition of cricket. Close to 40 but there is no lack of enthusiasm for these veteran players as compared to all young guns who are also eager to showcase their talent to the international world. Imran Tahir

South African player is 43 years old and is one of the best spinners. He has played 59 matches and has taken 85 wickets. Currently, Imran Tahir, one of the best spinners in the world, is considered quite fit and agile despite the age of 43. In the last season, he played IPL for  Chennai Super Kings. His base price in the auction is ₹2 crore.

Dwayne Bravo

West Indies player who is 38 years old is an all-rounder performer. Bravo has taken a total of 167 wickets and has scored 1537 runs in 151 matches. If he plays in IPL 15, he will become the first overseas player to play in all the seasons from 2008. He played for Chennai Super Kings last year. His base price in the auction is ₹2 crore.

Amit Mishra

Indian player Amit Mishra is 39 years old, is a spinner. He has a record of hat-tricks three times in the league. In 154 IPL matches, Mishra has taken 166 wickets. Once in an innings, he has taken 5 wickets and 4 times 4 wickets. Leg spinner Amit Mishra has the most 3 hat-tricks in IPL. In the last season, he played 4 matches for Delhi Capitals and took 6 wickets. In the middle overs, he is still considered the most economical spinner and has the power to take wickets. His base price is ₹1.5 crore.

S Sreesanth

Indian fast bowler S Sreesanth who got a chance in IPL after his ban from cricket is 38 years old. Sreesanth has played 44 matches and has taken 40 wickets. He got banned for 7-years after being accused of spot-fixing in the 2013 IPL. After he returned from the ban, he played in domestic cricket. Now his eyes are again on showing his talent in IPL, he has last played for Rajasthan. His base price is ₹50 lac.

Fidel Edwards

West Indies player Fidel Edwards, who is 39 years old is a fast bowler. Fidel is expected to return after 12 years. He played 6 IPL matches and took 5 wickets and played IPL for the only time in 2009. The veteran of the West Indies is again on foot after 12 years, hoping to play in IPL. Fidel has played for Deccan Chargers in 2009. His base price is ₹50 lac.
