IND vs AUS 3rd T20I: India won the decider with 6 wickets, Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav shined. India won the series after nine years at home against Australia. India captured the three-match series 2-1. Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav smashed half-centuries as the Indian team defeated Australia by six wickets with one 1-ball to spare in the third and deciding match played on Sunday. With this victory, India won the T20 series against Australia at home for the first time since 2013.

India won the toss and decided to bowl first. Australia scored 186 runs for 7 wickets, in response, the Indian team scored 187 runs for 4 wickets in 19.5 overs and captured the match and series.

Allrounder Performance of Cameron Green

Australian all-rounder and opener smashed a quick half-century when opening for the team. Green scored 52 runs in just 21 deliveries. In his inning, he smashed 7 fours and 3 sixes. He performed very well in his bowling role as well. He could not get any wicket but conceded just 14 runs in his 3-over spell. Along with him, Tim David also played a brilliant inning and scored 54 runs in 27 balls.

The quick innings made India win

The heroes of the Indian team’s victory were Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav. Virat Kohli scored 63 runs in 48 balls. He hit 3 fours and 4 sixes. The same Suryakumar Yadav played brilliant innings of 69 runs in 36 balls. During this, he hit 5 fours and 5 sixes. Both the batsmen shared a match-winning partnership of 104 runs in 62 balls for the third wicket. After the dismissal of Suryakumar Yadav, Virat added 48 runs in 32 balls with Hardik Pandya. On behalf of the Australian team, Cameron Green scored 52 runs in 21 balls while Tim David scored 27 runs in 27 balls.

Poor start from openers

Chasing a huge target of 187 runs, India had a very poor start. Opening pair Lokesh Rahul and Rohit Sharma soon returned to the pavilion. Lokesh Rahul could only score one run, at the same time, captain Rohit Sharma returned to the pavilion after scoring 17 runs in 14 balls.

Hero of victory: Surya scored the seventh half-century of his career

The Indian team was in trouble at one time, losing two wickets for 35 runs. In such a situation, Suryakumar Yadav, who landed on the crease, handled the innings with Virat. Surya, who became the man of the match, did not allow the run rate to be too much in a quick inning. His quick innings took the pressure off Virat and he kept the other end till the end.

Spinner Axar Patel, who bowled brilliantly throughout the series, became the Player of the Series. Axar took a total of 8 wickets in 3 matches. Axar Patel also bowled well in the third T-20 match against Australia, taking the highest three wickets for 33 runs in 4 overs.

Team India defeated Australia 2-1 in the 3-match T20I series. India was defeated in Mohali, then Team India won the 8-over match in Nagpur and now Team India has won the series by winning in Hyderabad. India’s record in T20 cricket is much better against Australia. There have been 26 T20 matches between the two teams so far, in which India has won 15 matches while Australia has won 10 matches. The result of one match has not come out.
