Team India defeated West Indies by 44 runs in the one-day match played on Wednesday with the lethal bowling of young fast bowler Prasidh Krishna. The Indian team has established an unassailable 2-0 lead in this series by winning this match.

West Indies won the toss and decided to bowl first. Despite the disappointing performance of the top batsmen, the Indian team managed to score 237 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 50 overs. In response, the West Indies team, which came to the ground chasing the target, could only score 193 runs in 46 overs.

Fast bowler Prasidh Krishna from India played very well. He took 4 wickets for just 12 runs in 9 overs. During this, he also threw 3 over Maiden. Apart from him, Shardul Thakur also took 2 wickets.

Pant opened for the first time

Rohit-Virat got out cheaply

Captain Rohit Sharma, who scored a brilliant half-century in the last match, disappointed everyone this time and got out after scoring just 5 runs. At the same time, Virat Kohli also disappointed his fans this time. He stayed on the wicket for a long time but could not play big innings. Virat Kohli fell victim to fast bowler Smith after scoring 18 runs in 30 balls.

One day ranking

Former captain Virat Kohli and current captain Rohit Sharma ranked in the list of batsmen in the latest one-day rankings of ICC. Both the players are in the second and third positions each. Virat Kohli has 828 points while Rohit Sharma has 807 points. In this list, Pakistan’s captain Babar Azam is at number one with 873 points.

Bumrah is the only Indian among bowlers

Jasprit Bumrah is the only Indian player in the rank list of ODI bowlers. He is in seventh place. In this list, Trent Boult of New Zealand is in the first place while Australia’s pacer Josh Hazlewood is in second place. England’s Chris Woakes is on the third spot.
