IND vs SA T20 Series: India could not win the series again at home from South Africa due to disturbance by rain. The Indian team once again missed out on winning the T20 series against South Africa at home ground. The five-match T20I series ended in a 2-2 draw due to rain at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium here on Sunday, and India and South Africa had to share the trophy. Bhuvneshwar Kumar was named the player of the series.

It is worth noting that for the third time the team of South Africa had come to play the T20 series in India. Earlier, the Indian team had to face defeat once out of two. And one series was tied at 1-1. It is also interesting that out of the three series between the two countries, one match has been lost due to rain. South Africa won the first two matches of the series while the host team India won the last two matches.

Indian fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar became the player of the match. Due to rain, only 21 balls could be bowled, in which India scored 28 runs for the loss of 2 wickets.

Avesh, Karthik, and Bhuvneshwar showed their mettle

However, the good thing in this series is that a little picture has become very clear in front of the coach Rahul Dravid regarding the upcoming T20 World Cup. In this series, Dinesh Karthik impressed everyone in the lower middle order. At the same time, among the bowlers, Avesh Khan and Bhuvneshwar Kumar strengthened their claim by bowling brilliantly.

South African team in India

In 2015, South Africa won the T20 series against India by 2-0. In 2019, India had drawn the series by 1-1 against South Africa.

37-year-old Karthik has a unique record in his name

After performing well in the series against South Africa after IPL 15, 37-year-old wicket-keeper batsman Dinesh Karthik has made a strong claim for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup. Dinesh Karthik, who is looking for a career in commentary, has now registered a unique record in his name. Karthik has played international cricket for India under the captaincy of 9 players so far. While two others are also included.

From 2004 to 2022: Sourav Ganguly was the captain when he made his ODI debut in 2004. When he played a Test match the same year, the captain was Rahul Dravid. When he went to play the first international T20 in 2006, Virender Sehwag was the captain in that match. Apart from Ganguly, Dravid, and Sehwag, Karthik has played cricket for the country under the captaincy of Anil Kumble, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, and Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, Rohit Sharma, Suresh Raina, and Rishabh Pant. This month Karthik will also be going to play international cricket under the captaincy of Hardik Pandya. Karthik has also played under the captaincy of Pakistani legend Shahid Afridi for the ICC eleven. During this, Karthik has seen many ups and downs in his career but did not give up and made a tremendous comeback.
