The dominance of these five batsmen
Rohit is just 37 runs away from becoming the highest run-scorer in T20 during this period. He will break the record and will be the number one player to score the highest run of all the players.
Bumrah, Rahul and Pant are seen as leaders
On the evening before the T20I series against Srilanka, Indian Captain Rohit Sharma told that Jaspreet Bumrah, KL Rahul, and Rishabh Pant have important key roles in the success of the team. All these players are seen as the leaders. We do not want to make any kind of pressure on them as they are vital for us.
Dasun Shanaka: We are expecting a lot from the top-order batsmen. India’s bowling attack is very strong and if we want to win the match then the batsmen have to score well. We will miss Hasaranga, but this is an opportunity for the youth.
Rohit Sharma: Jasprit Bumrah, Rishabh Pant, and K L Rahul are the three contenders for the captaincy of the Indian team in the future. All three are maturing with time. And I am careful about how I should manage my workload.
