In the match played on Saturday, India won the toss and elected to bat. The Indian team made a huge score of 317 runs for 8 wickets, which is their highest score in the World Cup. Earlier, India’s highest in the World Cup was 284 runs for six wickets, which they scored against West Indies in 2013. Chasing the same target of 318 runs, the West Indies team was reduced to 162 runs in 40.3 overs.

While playing 119 balls, Smriti hit 13 fours and two sixes and Harmanpreet Kaur hit ten fours and two sixes while playing 107 balls.
