DC vs PBKS: Delhi Capitals wicket-keeper Tim Seifert was found positive before the match. Delhi Capitals who is battling from Corona made a strong comeback in the IPL on Wednesday and registered a big victory by 9-wickets against Punjab Kings.
Delhi Capitals won the toss and Captain Rishabh Pant decided to bowl first. Due to the strong performance of the bowlers, Delhi bundled out Punjab for 115 runs in 20 overs. It is the lowest score for Punjab this season. In reply, Delhi won by scoring 119 runs for 1-wicket in 10.3 overs.

Bowlers dominated Warner-Prithvi shined

Delhi’s spin trio Lalit Yadav, Kuldeep Yadav, and Axar Patel took two wickets each. Fast bowler Khaleel Ahmed also took two wickets. Jitesh Sharma scored 32 runs for Punjab.
Opener David Warner played an unbeaten inning of 60 runs in 30 balls for Delhi chasing the target. He hit 10-fours and a six. On the other hand Prithvi scored 41 runs in 20 balls, hit 7-fours and a six. Both added 83 runs for the first wicket in 6.3 overs.

Seifert found corona positive

Shortly before the start of the match, the players of Delhi had a corona test. In this, wicket-keeper batsman Tim Seifert was found positive. He became the second player and fifth member of Delhi to be hit by Coronavirus.

Today’s match is a battle of honour for Mumbai-Chennai

The 15th season of IPL has been bad till now for the record five-time champions Mumbai Indians. Mumbai played six matches this season and lost all. Mumbai’s team will take on four-time former champion Chennai Super Kings on Friday. This season has also been bad for Chennai and they have won one match in six matches.
