IND vs ENG 5th Test: Last and final match of the last year’s postponed test series is to be played from today at Edgbaston. Jasprit Bumrah became the new captain. He’s the second fast bowler captain after Kapil Dev. Captain Rohit Sharma has been ruled out of the fifth and deciding Test against England starting on Friday. Rohit has been found positive in the RTPCR test conducted on Thursday morning. Due to this, he will not be available for the match.

Bumrah is the eighth captain of Team India since July 2021. During this, Shikhar Dhawan in 3 ODIs and 3 T20s, Virat Kohli in 7 Tests and 5 T20s, Rohit Sharma in two Tests, three ODIs and 9 T20s, Ajinkya Rahane has captained Team India in one Test, KL Rahul in one Test and three ODIs, Rishabh Pant in five T20Is and Hardik Pandya in two T20 matches.

Butler appointed captain of limited overs
